Letter From The President
Welcome to the Multicultural Greek Council at the University of Georgia,
I'm delighted to introduce you to our council, a vibrant and diverse community representing 11 Greek organizations. As one of four Greek Councils on campus, and the largest MGC in the southeast, we are united by our motto, "Unity through Diversity." This embodies our dedication to celebrating diverse cultures while fostering a sense of belonging through shared values of brotherhood, sisterhood, and cultural advocacy.

Our goals are to:
• Champion academic and leadership excellence.
• Enhance community service and cultural understanding in Athens.
• Provide robust support and resources to our multicultural fraternities and sororities.
• Offer a collaborative space for discussing and addressing issues relevant to our MGC community.
Joining one of our Multicultural Greek organizations can greatly enrich your university experience, offering opportunities to develop leadership, communication, and social skills. Each organization has its unique heritage and I encourage you to discover and appreciate their individuality. No matter your cultural background, the friendships, traditions, and memories you create in our council will be lasting. As you navigate your journey here, I look forward to seeing your growth and success at the University of Georgia.
Feel free to explore our website and connect with us on social media @ugamgcouncil for more insights into our organizations.
Best Regards,
Harika Kandiru
